Robbinsdale Middle School, 3730 Toledo Avenue North, Robbinsdale, MN 55422
The cost of health care is increasing by 13% each year. Nearly 50 million
Americans have no health insurance at all. Hard-working families are being driven
into debt by medical bills. Nearly half of all bankruptcies are caused by medical debt.
Medical debt helped to fan the flames of the foreclosure crisis, damaging our
neighborhoods and destabilizing our economy.
Single-payer health care is the simplest, most efficient way to ensure coverage
for all. With a new Congress and Barack Obama in the White House next year, we
will have an opportunity to mount a serious campaign to make universal, single-
payer health care a reality.
Rep. Keith Ellison wants to draw our community together to focus on how we
can work together to win single-payer in next year's new political climate. Please join
him to talk about it.
